Delta 8 THC vs. CBD - Whats the difference? Why Choose Street Lawyer Services?

What is Delta 8 THC vs. CBD?

First, it is important to understand that Delta 9 is what is commonly refer to as THC, weed, or cannabis. Recently, scientists have discovered that cannabis plants also contain another cannabinoid that causes psychoactive effects, called Delta 8 THC.

Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid native to the cannabis plant. A cannabinoid is a chemical that interacts with your brain and body naturally. Delta 8 is a form, or isomer, of THC, meaning it has the exact same number of atoms and is extremely similar in composition. It is NOT CBD. D8 gives you similar effects to D9 when you smoke it, just not quite as strong. To get Delta 8 by itself, Delta 8 must be extracted from hemp or converted from CBD. This process is not yet FDA regulated so it is important to get your D8 from a trusted provider like Street Lawyer Services.

Is Delta 8 Legal?

Delta 8 is legal federally! The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the production of all hemp products except anything that contains Delta 9-THC. The federal law states that there can be no Delta 9 in Delta 8 products. There has to be less than .03% Delta 9 THC. Street Lawyer Services is compliant with this law!
